Though booking a reservation and visiting a new area can be stressful, we are here to help answer all of your questions, as well as to put your mind at ease for a fun and relaxing beach vacation. Below you’ll find Frequently Asked Questions that are common to our visitors. What is your 'Best Rate Guaranteed' policy?
We guarantee that the rates found through our official website are the lowest in comparison to other online sources for same day searches. If you find a lower rate, please contact us and we will gladly match it upon verification.
Is parking free?
Off-street parking is available to our guests complimentary. Please note, we do not have parking accommodations for trailers, RVs, boats, recreational equipment, or oversized vehicles.
What are the deposit and cancellation policies?
- For most reservations, our Standard Policy requires a deposit equal to one night stay plus tax at the time of booking. Standard Policy permits cancellations without penalty 14 days prior to the ORIGINAL arrival date.
- Cancellations that occur within 14 days of the arrival date can reallocate the advance deposit funds toward future dates within one year of the original stay dates. Once the advance deposit funds have been reallocated to future stay dates, they are NON-REFUNDABLE. We strongly encourage you to purchase our Vacation Protection Plan at time of booking. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any room rate differences.
- Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date and fail to notify the resort of a change to their stay dates, therefore acknowledge forfeiture of advance deposit funds.
- Please refer to your reservation details or call the hotel with any cancellation-related questions.
- Changes to reservations are considered cancellations and re-bookings.
What is the Vacation Protection Plan?
Life happens. We never know what life events may arise at the most inopportune time. That’s why we offer a Vacation Protection plan. This is an optional, non-refundable charge you can select at the time of booking. If selected, it allows you to cancel your reservation up to 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and receive a 100% refund of your advance deposit.
What credit cards are accepted?
Our Lodging facility in Litchfield, SC accepts all major credit cards.
What is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is at 4 p.m., and check out time is at 11:00 a.m.
What is your room guarantee policy?
Generally our beachfront hotel cannot guarantee any room number or location, although we make every effort to grant special requests.
What is the pet policy?
The Oceanfront Litchfield Inn does not allow pets. Service animals must be registered, and this does not include emotional support animals. Violation will result in a fine and termination of reservation without refund.
What resort service fees am I paying for?
- Resort Fee: $17.50 (+ tax) per night is added to each accommodation rate (subject to change). This fee includes WI-FI, free local calls, complimentary coffee and tea, free parking and pool towel service.
- Rooms & Efficiencies Nightly Housekeeping Fee: $19.95 (+tax)
- 2 Bedroom Nightly Housekeeping Fee: $29.95 (+tax)
- Destination Fee: $1.00 per day
- Your Trip is Covered with a $39.95 Damage Waiver Fee (+tax). All reservations automatically include this fee. It is a non-refundable charge that covers up to $1,000 in reported instances of accidental or non-negligent damages. In addition, guests are not required to put down a security deposit at time of arrival.
- Children under 17: Free with accompanied adult (crib or rollaway bed: $10 per night)
- Resort Fee: $15 (+ tax) per night is added to each accommodation rate (subject to change). This fee includes WI-FI, free local calls, complimentary coffee and tea, complimentary continental breakfast, free parking and pool towel service.
- Housekeeping Fee: $14.50 per day
- Destination Fee: $1.00 per day
- Crib or rollaway bed: $10 per night
- Children under 17: Free with accompanied adult
Is smoking allowed?
Our beachfront Litchfield hotel is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use of any kind are strictly prohibited in guest rooms, common areas, and pool decks. A designated smoking area is available across the street in our overflow parking lot. Any other use on resort property will result in a fine and or termination of stay with no refund.
