4. Warbird Park

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN: About aircraft that defended our nation with an up-close look. This place in Market Common once was Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Included: An A-10 Warthog Thunderbolt from Operation Desert Storm. And, an F-100 jet fighter in service from the 1950s through the 1970s.

TRY THIS: Visit the memorials onsite. This area includes a 9/11 memorial and picnic tables. It’s a beautiful spot to bring a packed lunch.
