  • BROOKGREEN GARDENS: This sculpture garden and wildlife sanctuary is a visitor’s favorite. It’s 9,100 acres of themed gardens and American figurative sculptures. Visit the Lowcountry Zoo and more. 
  • HUNTINGTON BEACH STATE PARK: The beach and wetlands are home to sea turtles, birds, and more. Don’t miss a visit to the salt marsh with its long-range views and unique wildlife.
  • ATALAYA: It’s a historic home in Huntington Beach State Park that philanthropist Archer Huntington and sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington built in 1931. Take a self-guided tour of this coastal castle.

Don’t resist the urge to bring your clubs to the Golf Capital of the World.

  • FOUNDERS CLUB AT PAWLEYS ISLAND: This challenging Thomas Walker design opened in 2008. You’ll enjoy the unique character of many holes here with elevated greens on every approach.
  • RIVER CLUB: The grounds are in impeccable shape, from the tee boxes to the greens. Play among ponds and streams on this picturesque Tom Jackson course. Keep a lookout for the resident alligator sunning on the front nine!
